Tension on the Border: Launch of the Paving Project for the Baraka Bi'thahil Al-Samaqa Road in Kfarshouba

The paving project for the Baraka Bi'thahil Al-Samaqa road in the hills of Kfarshouba in southern Lebanon has commenced, with the presence of the Minister of Public Works and Transport, Ali Hamieh. Hamieh emphasized that the Lebanese state is present in every inch of its territory. He added, "We will continue construction on the Lebanese border with occupied Palestine and we will not seek permission from anyone." Hamieh noted that the Israeli mobilization is repetitive and means nothing. Reports indicate that Israeli forces are mobilizing on the border with Lebanon at positions facing Kfarshouba and have launched a drone over the Kfarshouba hills. For his part, MP Qassem Hashem stated, "The Israeli enemy is unsettled by any movements on the border with Lebanon."
