Zimbabwe's newly re-elected President Emmerson Mnangagwa suggested on Sunday that those who question the election results can take their grievances to the courts, after opposition leader Nelson Chamisa claimed that the voting process was marked by "blatant rigging." Mnangagwa stated, "I competed against them and I feel happy after my victory in the presidential race." In response, Chamisa wrote on his official account on the platform "X," saying, "This is a gross and blatant fraud." The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission announced on Saturday that the 80-year-old Mnangagwa won the election with 52.6 percent of the votes, compared to 44 percent for his main opponent, Nelson Chamisa from the opposition Citizens Coalition for Change.
