The Israeli Ministry of Defense announced today, Sunday, that Israel has signed an agreement to sell the "David's Sling" missile defense system to Finland in a deal worth 317 million euros (339 million dollars). This system was developed by the Israeli Missile Defense Organization, part of the Ministry of Defense, in conjunction with the U.S. Missile Defense Agency and the main contractor, Rafael Advanced Defense Systems. The "David's Sling" system intercepts ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, aircraft, and drones.
