The Israeli Ministry of Defense announced today, Wednesday, that the United States has agreed to sell a missile defense system developed by both countries to Finland. The ministry noted that after receiving the green light from Washington, Israel can proceed with the sale of the advanced air defense system "David's Sling" to Finland in a deal valued at 316 million euros (345.80 million dollars). The ministry stated that the Finnish version of the system will be developed by Israeli and American companies led by Rafael Advanced Defense Systems of Israel and Raytheon Technologies of the United States in partnership with the industrial sector in Finland.
