Forensic Audit on the Table of the Finance Committee Next Monday

The head of the Finance and Budget Committee, MP Ibrahim Kanaan, has called the committee to a session to be held at 10:30 AM next Monday, 28/8/2023, to discuss the preliminary report of the forensic audit of the accounts of the Central Bank of Lebanon, completed by Alvarez & Marsal. Kanaan had sent two letters to Minister of Finance Youssef Al-Khalil in June and July of the past year to obtain the report and the related documents for presentation to the Finance Committee for discussion and decision-making.
