Israeli Military Spokesperson: The Army is Ready, Waiting for Political Instructions

Israeli military spokesperson Daniel Hagari stated today, Tuesday, that the army is "prepared and determined" to enter the next phase of the war and is awaiting political instructions. He added that Israel is learning from the American experience in the Middle East, but emphasized that "our war is on our borders and not thousands of miles away from Israel," indicating that he expects the fighting to continue in the coming weeks. Hagari mentioned that Egypt plays a key role in negotiations for the release of detainees from Gaza, which he stated is a top priority for Israel.
