General Director of Agriculture Distributes Apples in Bsharri Under the Slogan "Your Country’s Apples for You and Your Children"

The Bsharri Municipal Union organized "Apple Day" in Dimeh, under the patronage of the General Director of the Ministry of Agriculture, Engineer Louis Lahaud, with the participation of apple farmers from the Bsharri district, the President of the Bsharri Municipal Union, Eli Makhlouf, and the mayors of Bsharri. Lahaud and Makhlouf distributed apples on the main road under the slogan "Your Country’s Apples for You and Your Children." Lahaud emphasized the Ministry of Agriculture's support for apple farmers in Lebanon and its efforts to export Lebanese apples to foreign markets. Lahaud held a meeting at the Municipal Union's center in Dimeh with the mayors of the Bsharri district to discuss the conditions of the agricultural sector and the marketing of agricultural production in Bsharri in local and foreign markets. Lahaud, Makhlouf, and the mayors will continue a tour of apple farmers and the packing and cooling centers for apples, as well as facilities under construction in Hadath Jba for apple drying and distilling apple alcohol.
