Mubadala: The U.S. Will Remain a Key Market for Our Investments

Khaldoun Mubarak, the CEO of Abu Dhabi's sovereign wealth fund "Mubadala," stated on Thursday that the fund's investment focus will increasingly shift towards Asia, but the United States will remain a key market. Speaking at the Milken Institute's Middle East and Africa Summit 2023, Mubarak said, "I believe the United States will remain a fantastic and key market for us." He noted that in the past, investment flows were directed westward, with the fund heavily investing in the U.S. and Europe, but this situation is set to change. He added, "Growth is present in the East today, and I look forward to growth in the next ten to twenty years, which is also happening in Asia... in India, and in Southeast Asia," mentioning that the fund will work to enhance its capacity to increase investments in those regions.
