Russian defenses shot down a Ukrainian drone today, Saturday, in the Belgorod region, southwest of Russia. According to the Russian defense statement: "This morning, around 09:00 Moscow time, an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack using a drone on targets in Russian territory was thwarted. Our air defenses destroyed a Ukrainian drone over the Belgorod region." Earlier, the governor of Belgorod, Vyacheslav Gladkov, announced that Russian air defenses had intercepted two aerial targets in the region yesterday, with no injuries reported.
