Turkish Energy Minister: We Will Start Operating the Iraq-Turkey Pipeline

Turkish Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar indicated today, Monday, that "the pipeline transporting crude oil from Iraq is ready to resume operation after damage caused by a devastating earthquake in the region in February." During the ADIPEC conference in Abu Dhabi, he said, "This week we will start operating the Iraq-Turkey pipeline, which will be capable of transporting approximately half a million barrels to global markets." He added, "Our country represents a reliable route for transporting oil and gas."
