Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir Abdullahian affirmed that "the announcement of the zero hour in case of continued Israeli aggression is in the hands of the resistance, which can independently take any appropriate action." He pointed out that "the Zionist entity is experiencing its worst conditions, and the unprecedented 'Al-Aqsa Flood' operation has proven that."
In a press conference at the Iranian embassy in Beirut, Abdullahian stressed that "the most important thing is to stop the war crimes being committed by the Zionist entity against the people of Gaza." He indicated that "during the meetings I conducted with some resistance leaders in Beirut, I found that the resistance is in an excellent position and is fully prepared to respond to the criminal acts of the Zionist entity."
He noted that "regarding the war crimes committed by the Zionist enemy, we proposed holding an urgent meeting for the foreign ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation as soon as possible, and Tehran is ready to host this meeting." He emphasized that "the security of Lebanon is important for everyone, including Iran, and it is possible to envision any possibility of opening a new front as per the circumstances."
He regarded that "the American presence alongside Tel Aviv is another reason indicating that the Zionist entity is living through its worst times and is on the brink of complete security and military collapse." He announced that "resistance leaders are cohesive and there is high-level coordination among them; they have outlined all scenarios and are prepared for them, and their hands are currently on the trigger."
He asserted that "if the international community, the United Nations, and actors in the world and the region who support the instigation of Israeli wars hesitate, they will receive the response that the resistance desires at the appropriate place, and this response will make the Zionist entity and everyone regret it, changing the map of the occupied territories."
Abdullahian confirmed that "the resistance directly has the capabilities and high potential to respond to the war crimes of the Zionist entity and the continuation of the blockade on Gaza." He revealed that "during the meeting between me and the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, I learned about the latest battlefield developments of the resistance in Gaza, Palestine, and southern Lebanon. The whole world knows that Nasrallah is a man of the field and has always played the most prominent role in achieving the security of Lebanon and the region."
He pointed out that "what was circulated about normalizing relations between Saudi Arabia and the illegitimate Zionist entity, I believe, has been completely removed from the table in these new circumstances that the region is experiencing." He explained that "a few days ago, there was a phone call for the first time between Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and these discussions took place in light of the new atmosphere represented by good relations between Tehran and Riyadh."
He stressed that "the two countries agree on supporting Palestine and condemning the war crimes committed by the Zionist entity. The majority of leaders of the region and Arab countries currently agree that the 'Al-Aqsa Flood' operations came as a spontaneous response to part of the crimes and extremism practiced by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu." He affirmed that "neither Saudi Arabia nor any of the leaders of the Arab world have removed the Palestinian cause from their agenda and will not do so in the future."
During his visit to Lebanon, Abdullahian met with the UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, Tor Wennesland, and the Chairman of the Lebanese-Palestinian Dialogue Committee, Dr. Basil Hassan, to discuss the latest situation in Palestine and ways to assist the people of Gaza.
