The governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, stated that "residential units were damaged in the city of Belgorod due to an explosion that occurred on Sunday evening." Gladkov said, "The causes of the incident are being investigated," adding that "a Ukrainian drone may be responsible for the explosion that occurred at 05:43 local time." He further mentioned, "According to preliminary reports, the damage resulted from a drone attack." No information has been reported regarding injuries.
