A spokesperson for the German government indicated today, Wednesday, that Berlin has approved the delivery of 150 air-to-air missiles of the Iris-T model to Saudi Arabia, thus resuming arms exports to the kingdom, which had been prohibited since 2018. The German Federal Security Council authorized the deal in December according to a document from the Ministry of Economy.
