Oleh Kiper, the governor of Ukraine's Odesa region, indicated on Tuesday that "an airstrike launched by Russia overnight on the port of Izmail, which is a key outlet for exporting Ukrainian grain, resulted in the injury of two and damage to infrastructure." He wrote via the Telegram app, stating: "The attack, which lasted for more than two hours, caused damage to one of the port buildings and storage facilities, as well as over 30 trucks and vehicles." The Ukrainian military mentioned that it shot down 26 out of 38 Iranian-made drones in the attack carried out by Russia. In a separate incident today, Oleksandr Vilkul, the mayor of Kryvyi Rih in southern Ukraine, noted that "a Russian missile strike damaged a local facility in the area." There have been no reports of casualties yet. Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated: "Air defense systems destroyed a drone launched by Ukraine over the Kursk region at about 5:30 AM local time (0230 GMT)."
