The Tunisian national team suffered a historic defeat against Namibia, with a score of (0-1), in the match that took place today, Tuesday, opening the competitions of Group E in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations. Namibia's "Brave Warriors" owe their historic victory to player Deon Hoto, who scored the only goal for his country in the dying moments, just two minutes before the end of regular time, at the Amadou Gon Coulibaly Stadium in Korhogo, Ivory Coast.
With this victory, Namibia achieved its first win in the finals of the African continent, as well as its first-ever victory against Tunisia in their historical matchups, after three defeats and three draws.
