King Abdullah Medical City in Mecca has performed over 270 specialized cardiac procedures (260 catheterizations and 11 open-heart surgeries) for 80 beneficiaries from the guests of the Sacred House of God. The Ministry of Health clarified that the medical services provided included interventional catheterization, open-heart surgery, treatment related to cardiac electrical activity, implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators, and treatment for heart disorders. This is part of the strategic plans of the medical city to utilize all specialized capabilities and round-the-clock manpower to provide the highest quality medical services to patients.
