South African Minister: Countries Must Stop Funding Israeli Military Operations

South Africa's Minister of Foreign Affairs Naledi Pandor stated today, Wednesday, that "there is an obligation on all countries to stop funding and facilitating Israeli military operations in Gaza, after the International Court of Justice indicated that 'the possibility of these actions constituting genocide is reasonable.'" Pandor noted, "Five out of six countries invited to join the BRICS group, starting from January 1, have confirmed their accession to the group." She added that "the countries that have confirmed their membership are Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Ethiopia, Iran, and Egypt."
