Four astronauts representing four countries and space agencies from around the world launched today, Saturday, aboard a SpaceX rocket towards the International Space Station, marking the start of a mission expected to last over six months. The mission, named Crew-7, took off from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida at 3:27 AM Eastern Time.
This is the second attempt to launch Crew-7, as the previous attempt on Friday morning was canceled by mission directors. The SpaceX Dragon Endurance capsule is scheduled to dock with the space station at 8:50 AM on Sunday and will remain on mission for six months.
