An earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale hit Elazig province in eastern Turkey, with no reported casualties or damage. The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority identified the epicenter of the earthquake in the city of Elazig, at a depth of 13.83 kilometers from the surface.
