Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman stated that targeting civilians in Gaza is a horrendous crime and brutal aggression, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA). The agency reported that the Crown Prince received a phone call from Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, during which the ongoing military escalation in Gaza was discussed.
The agency added that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman reiterated that the Kingdom considers the targeting of civilians in Gaza a horrendous crime and brutal aggression, emphasizing the need to work on providing protection for them. He also underscored the importance of enhancing efforts to stop military operations and reduce escalation to avoid its serious repercussions on security, peace, and stability in the region and the world.
In this context, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman also received another phone call from Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, where they discussed the current military escalation in Gaza. According to SPA, the Crown Prince affirmed during the call the necessity of making every possible effort to reduce the pace of escalation and ensure that the violence does not expand to avoid its serious consequences on security and peace in the region and the world.
