Russia Shoots Down 7 Drones Launched by Ukraine Over Belgorod

The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Tuesday that Russian air defense systems destroyed seven drones launched by Ukraine over the Belgorod region in the southwest of the country. This followed reports from the regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov stating that the city of Graivoron had been attacked by drones. The Defense Ministry mentioned via Telegram that none of the drones reached their target. Gladkov also indicated via Telegram that there were no casualties from the attack on Graivoron, but noted that four houses were damaged by debris from the drones. Belgorod and other regions bordering Ukraine have been subjected to repeated attacks carried out by Ukrainian forces amid the ongoing war, which began with the large-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine two years ago.
