Several indicators suggest that Real Madrid is on the verge of signing Kylian Mbappé, the star of Paris Saint-Germain, next summer. Transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed via his official account on the "X" platform that "Real Madrid is advancing confidently in the Mbappé deal." He added, "However, no contracts have been signed yet, and the French player is expected to announce his official decision soon."
Romano noted that Nasser Al Khelaifi, the president of the Parisian club, has not yet received any formal notification regarding Mbappé's desire to leave. He mentioned that informing Al Khelaifi of Mbappé’s decision is a crucial step, as it is part of the agreement between the player and the club president. Romano continued by stating, "The confidence in Real Madrid regarding the completion of the deal is not only at the management level but also within the dressing room." He clarified that Real Madrid has allocated a salary for Mbappé that is lower than the amount offered to the player in 2022.
