Israeli Army: Two Soldiers Injured in Stabbing Incident in Jerusalem

Israeli newspaper "Maariv" reported an attempted stabbing attack at the Tunnel checkpoint in Jerusalem, during which the Israeli army opened fire on the Palestinian attacker. The official Israeli Broadcasting Authority announced that two Israeli soldiers were injured in the stabbing incident. The Israeli army confirmed the operation.

Media coverage: Occupation forces closed the Tunnel checkpoint west of Bethlehem after two of their soldiers were injured in a stabbing incident and the attacker was killed.

According to Israeli media, the attacker arrived at the Tunnel checkpoint on an electric bicycle, dismounted, and executed the stabbing attack. Israeli military radio reported that the attacker at the Tunnel checkpoint is a boy named Muhammad Murad Abu Hamid from the village of Al-Khadr. Israeli media indicated that the attacker is 14 years old.
