The Russian Institute of Applied Geophysics reported that a strong magnetic storm is occurring on Earth today, Monday. According to the statement: "On November 26th, a disturbance in the Earth's magnetic field was recorded," as reported by Russian media. According to space weather monitoring data, the level of disturbance in the Earth's magnetic field has reached "G2," indicating a "moderate" level on a scale of five indicators, where "G5" is "extremely strong" and "G1" is "weak." The "G2" level means there may be problems with power systems on Earth, including possible disruptions in radio navigation and communication violations.
A Russian expert warned about sporadic magnetic storms, confirming that they can cause significant health issues. Internal medicine specialist Savinch Alieva stated, as reported by Russian media, that during a magnetic storm, symptoms such as insomnia, headaches, dizziness, irregular heartbeats, and joint pain may appear. She added that people react differently to this phenomenon; some may experience drowsiness, while others may face psychological and emotional disturbances, potentially leading to panic attacks.
She noted that during these disturbances, it's important to drink more pure water and maintain a proper sleep and rest routine. Additionally, it's advised to avoid consuming too much salty food, as it can disrupt the nervous system.
