In accordance with the decisions of the Executive Committee of the Lebanese Rugby Union Federation, made during its latest meeting chaired by the President of the Lebanese Rugby Union, Samir Dabbouq, and attended by the majority of the members under the agenda of developing the sport, the Lebanese Rugby Union Federation organized a championship for age categories under 16 and under 13 at the Sayed Al-Jumhour Stadium. This event aims to build a new generation capable of competing, under the supervision of the director of the Lebanese Rugby Union Federation, Marwan Azar, with the participation of four clubs: Jumhour, Blue Stars, Caps, and Academy. The clubs competed in a round-robin format.
In the first stage of the championship, Jumhour led the standings, followed by Caps, Academy, and then Blue Stars. In the under 13 category, Blue Stars came out ahead of Academy. According to the Director of the Development Program at the Lebanese Rugby Union Federation, Marwan Azar, these matches will continue on several occasions.
