Watford, competing in the English League Championship, announced on Thursday the appointment of Valérien Ismaël as the new head coach of the team, making him the 11th coach in less than four years. The 47-year-old coach takes over from Chris Wilder, who was appointed in March until the end of the season. Ismaël's last coaching position was with the Turkish team Beşiktaş.
