International Hackers Breach Sensitive Data in Israel

Israeli media reported that "international hackers breached sensitive data in Israel and published it on a website they created to disseminate the leaks." The Hebrew newspaper "Haaretz" noted that "the hackers released thousands of documents that they claimed to have obtained after infiltrating systems belonging to the occupying army." The newspaper pointed out that "the hackers managed to breach systems linked to the Israeli Ministry of Justice and the nuclear research facility in Dimona." Furthermore, the Hebrew newspaper "Israel Hayom" revealed on April 9 that the Israeli Ministry of Defense's systems had been breached and that the hackers accessed "sensitive information." It stated that the hackers published documents purported to be contracts for the Ministry of Defense, offering the full information for sale in various forums for 50 bitcoins (approximately $3.3 million), according to the newspaper.
