Egyptian Zamalek was crowned champion of the African Confederation Cup today, Sunday, after defeating Moroccan team Nahdat Berkane 1-0 in a match held at the Cairo International Stadium. Zamalek player Ahmed Hamdi scored the goal for Zamalek in the first half. The first leg match ended with Nahdat Berkane winning 2-1 on their home ground in Berkane, Morocco. Zamalek's triumph came with an aggregate score of 2-2, applying the away goals rule.
