The statement from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard read: "The Israeli occupation committed a crime in Damascus, assassinating Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahidi and Brigadier General Mohammad Hadi Haji Rahimi, senior Iranian advisors in Syria, along with 5 officers accompanying them.
