Users on social media shared a short video showing a struggle between two Komodo dragons on a main road in Egypt. The video revealed two Komodo dragons fighting next to a main road and near agricultural fields, causing fear and panic among passing pedestrians. The video's creator mocked a farmer who was chasing one of the dragons with a stick, seemingly unaware of the danger or perhaps not knowing that Komodo dragons are wild and predatory.
Social media users questioned why the Komodo dragons appeared in this area and ventured onto a main road, urging authorities to track them to prevent harm to animals, humans, and children. Just days prior, a lion had caused panic in the First Settlement area east of Cairo, as residents were surprised to see it wandering the streets last Tuesday evening. Local residents, with the help of security forces, managed to capture the lion and hand it over to the Ministry of Agriculture.
