Klopp: There Is No Problem with Mohamed Salah

Liverpool's head coach Jürgen Klopp insisted on Friday that his difference with Egyptian star Mohamed Salah has "totally been resolved." He stated that his long history with the Egyptian player ensures that their relationship suffers no lasting damage.

A verbal altercation occurred between Jürgen Klopp and Mohamed Salah along the touchline during the 2-2 draw with West Ham last Saturday. When asked about the incident after the match, Salah was heard saying, "There will be a fire today if I talk."

About a week after the incident, Klopp remarked that it was "not an important event." Speaking before Liverpool's home match against Tottenham in the Premier League on Sunday, Klopp said, "There is no problem... If we hadn’t known each other for a long time, I don’t know how we would have dealt with it, but we’ve known each other for a long time and respect each other so much that there really is no problem."
