Haamiya Follows Up on Road Maintenance in Al-Miniyeh

The Minister of Public Works and Transport in the caretaker government, Ali Haamiya, discussed with Deputy Ahmad Khair the latest developments in Lebanon and the region during a meeting at the ministry. They addressed developmental issues related to the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, particularly the maintenance of classified roads within its jurisdiction, especially in the Al-Miniyeh area. Haamiya emphasized that the "road maintenance file is approached at the ministry from a prioritization perspective," adding that "the roads, especially in the Al-Miniyeh area, will be subjected, like other regions, to priority standards and available capacities." For his part, Khair noted that “the maritime road, Arman – Al-Bared, is one of the main roads in Al-Miniyeh that needs maintenance, especially since it connects several towns in Al-Miniyeh to each other and extends to Akkar," leading the minister to confirm that "instructions have been given directly to the relevant parties in the ministry to begin preparing its related file."
