Substitutes Carney Chukwuemeka and Noni Madueke scored two goals in stoppage time on Sunday to give Chelsea a thrilling 4-2 victory over second-tier Leicester City, advancing them to the semi-finals of the FA Cup. Chelsea seemed to be in complete control in the first half after goals from Marc Cucurella and Cole Palmer, despite Raheem Sterling missing a penalty saved by Jakub Stolarczyk with his legs. However, Chelsea defender Axel Disasi gifted Leicester a goal in the 51st minute when his back pass went straight into his own net. Ten minutes later, Stephy Mavididi struck a stunning shot after an individual effort to level the game for Leicester. But with eight minutes of stoppage time announced and Leicester reduced to 10 men after Callum Doyle's red card in the 73rd minute, Chukwuemeka turned in Cole's back pass into the net, followed by Madueke scoring from a distance to double the lead before the final whistle.
