Al-Kaslik Grants Honorary Doctorate to George Khabbaz

The Holy Spirit University of Kaslik awarded an honorary doctorate to artist George Khabbaz, in recognition of his works and artistic career, during its annual dinner with the Lebanese community held at the Harvard Club in New York City, organized by the university's Institutional Advancement Office. It is noteworthy that Khabbaz is an alumnus of the university, and this honor was an occasion for the university to express its pride in the exceptional artistic value he represents. The event was attended by the Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the United Nations, Monsignor Gabriel Giordano Caccia, Father General Hadi Mahfouz, the General Superior of the Lebanese Maronite Order, the university president Father Talal Hashem, in addition to members of the university's Board of Trustees and the Board of Directors of the Holy Spirit University Foundation (HSUF), along with a crowd of expatriate Lebanese figures supporting the educational sector in Lebanon.
