The Wafd Party Expels Two Members Following Antiquities Sale Scandal (Video)

Sources within the Wafd Party in Egypt have reported that party president Abdel-Sand Yamama decided to approve the findings of the investigation into the circulated video of antiquities sales within the party. The decision resulted in the expulsion of party members Safir El-Sayed Mohamed Nour and Abdel-Wahab Barakat Sayed Mahmoud from the party, as well as referring the matter to the public prosecutor.

It is noteworthy that a video, lasting no more than three minutes, sparked widespread controversy and anger on social media. The video featured three party leaders at the headquarters of the higher authority discussing a deal to sell a valuable antiquity.
