The Abu Dhabi International Boat Show has successfully established Abu Dhabi as a leading tourist destination in the region over five consecutive editions, as well as a major hub for hosting global tourism, sports, and cultural events. In a short period, the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show has formed an ideal and distinctive platform for all stakeholders and specialists in the boat manufacturing and marine sports and fishing equipment sectors, highlighting the capabilities and potentials of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and contributing to enhancing its leadership in organizing and hosting local, regional, and international events and exhibitions.

The significant turnout of professionals and the public for the fifth edition of the exhibition, currently taking place under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler's Representative in the Al Dhafra Region, reinforces Abu Dhabi’s status as a key hub for various global tourism, sports, and cultural events. The Abu Dhabi International Boat Show continues to establish its regional position as an ideal destination that offers a mix of innovations, culture, and entertainment, confirming its status as a leading global event in the maritime sector.

The exhibition gives the public and those interested in the maritime sector the opportunity to explore the latest innovations and technologies that the boat manufacturing and fishing equipment industries have reached, especially as this year's edition reveals many companies' latest products and facilitates deals and partnerships that will enhance the growth of this vital sector. The exhibition has provided visitors and specialists in the industry over five editions the chance to view a collection of boats, yachts, and new innovative products from various companies in the UAE and around the world. Many exhibitors also present recreational marine equipment alongside the latest fishing gear, as well as water entertainment activities and numerous other attractions, offering diverse events for families that include many recreational activities.

This year’s edition of the exhibition witnesses extensive local and international participation, attracting more than 10,000 visitors and featuring over 700 local companies and brands from more than 15 countries worldwide, with record participation from major global companies specializing in yacht and boat manufacturing. The number of participating countries in this edition has risen to 50 compared to 41 in the previous edition, marking a 17% increase, with new participation from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Norway, Belgium, Lithuania, Indonesia, Cyprus, the Maldives, Sri Lanka, and Hong Kong.

It is worth mentioning that the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show 2023 is organized by the "Adnec" group in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi at the Marina Hall and the Marine Canal at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center. This current edition is the largest since the exhibition's inception in 2018.
