The Syrian Ministry of Oil and Mineral Resources announced that the "Jhar-101" gas well has begun production today, Thursday, noting that this was achieved thanks to national teams who worked diligently within a short time frame. Syrian Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources Firas Qaddour, who inaugurated the well, praised "the significant effort and spirit of cooperation that characterized this project," stating that "the positive results from the well motivate further development of the field and the commencement of drilling more production wells." He added that "the gas produced from the well will be directly transferred to the Jhar station, then to the Hayan gas plant, and subsequently to the national gas network," indicating that "a precise monitoring of the well's performance and evaluation of its efficiency is currently underway, aimed at achieving stable production consistently."
