The Kuwaiti Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy continued to implement measures to alleviate electric load in conjunction with rising temperatures. The ministry announced via its "X" platform that a limited fire occurred on Sunday morning at the Al-Zour South Power and Water Distillation Station, without affecting electricity and water production. The ministry decided to apply a manual power cut for two hours in some industrial and agricultural areas. The Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy was forced to cut the power for urgent maintenance work, which led to service interruptions in specific locations in the Farwaniya and Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh areas. Additionally, Hassan Al-Fajam, Director of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training in Kuwait, announced the transition of all college and institute lectures to remote learning via the "Teams" program, starting Monday, June 24, until July 4.
