Recovery of Palestinian Bodies After Extensive Israeli Bombardment in Gaza

Palestinian Red Crescent paramedics retrieved the bodies of three Palestinians in eastern Rafah, southern Gaza Strip, targeted by the Israeli army while waiting for aid trucks. Additionally, the bodies of three other individuals and several wounded were recovered, while efforts continue to search for missing persons under the rubble due to the Israeli army's targeting of the Abu Hasira family's home in the port area west of Gaza City. Four individuals were injured as a result of bombardment that targeted the Rady family's home in the new camp north of the Al-Nuseirat camp in central Gaza. Israeli aircraft also targeted a post office building and the interior ministry in Khan Younis, southern Gaza. Three deceased bodies were retrieved from the Kerem Shalom crossing in southern Gaza, found with their hands bound, having been targeted shortly after their release. Medical teams remain unable to access many areas of Rafah to recover the bodies of the dead amid ongoing Israeli bombardment. For its part, the Israeli army stated in a report: "We targeted the Khan Younis municipality building that Hamas uses for its military activities. We found an operational tunnel entrance connected to a tunnel route within the building."
