Liverpool has proposed a swap deal to Real Madrid to acquire the services of Rodrygo Goes, the Merengue winger. According to the Spanish program "El Chiringuito," the Reds management has prioritized Rodrygo Goes as part of their plans for a strong boost in the summer transfer window.
The program noted that Liverpool previously made a £100 million offer to Real Madrid last month for Rodrygo, but it was rejected. It explained that the English team is willing to propose a swap deal involving Luis Diaz, in hopes of negotiating with the Merengues and opening the door for Rodrygo Goes' departure.
"El Chiringuito" mentioned that Rodrygo feels unsettled, knowing he will face fierce competition next year with the arrivals of Endrick and Mbappe. It added, "Rodrygo has made statements about leaving and confirmed them in Brazil, then claimed his comments were misinterpreted, but that is not true."
It continued, "Offers for Rodrygo are starting to come to Real Madrid, and the club could easily ask for much more than £100 million." It concluded, "Manchester City is also among the clubs interested in acquiring Rodrygo's services, but his departure this summer cannot be confirmed."
