Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov held a phone call with French Armed Forces Minister Sébastien Lecornu, during which he requested permission for Kyiv's forces to strike Russian territory using French weapons. Umerov wrote on "X": "I had a fruitful conversation with French Armed Forces Minister Sébastien Lecornu... I insisted on the necessity of lifting the ban on striking military targets on enemy territory." It is noteworthy that Ukrainian forces attacked border areas in Kursk last Tuesday morning.
