Luis Enrique: Mbappé Will Be Available Against Nice

Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique revealed today, Thursday, that forward Kylian Mbappé will be available for the match against Nice in the French Ligue 1 tomorrow, Friday, after missing a friendly against Germany earlier this week. Mbappé sat on the bench and did not participate in France's 2-1 loss to Germany last Tuesday, and French coach Didier Deschamps stated after the match that the forward had suffered a knee issue the day before during training.

Luis Enrique said in a press conference today, "We will assess his condition tomorrow. He faced an issue this week. We will discuss it tomorrow to see if he will be ready for the match against Nice. But I believe he will be."

The Spanish coach noted that preparing for the match after the international break has been complicated, as some players have not been able to return to training yet. He mentioned, "Today the midfielder Manuel Ougarte and defender Marquinhos arrived. But we have been working together for two months, so they already know the instructions."

Additionally, former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti will be honored tomorrow, Friday, at Parc des Princes, after the 30-year-old player joined Qatari club Al-Arabi yesterday, following 11 years at the Parisian club. Luis Enrique said, "Verratti will be present before the match tomorrow. It will be an opportunity to honor him. We will hold a special celebration for him and his family."

Paris Saint-Germain is currently in second place in Ligue 1 with eight points from four matches, two points behind the league leaders Monaco and level with third-placed Marseille.
