Title: Bouchikian: Unlicensed Industries Are Prohibited from Operating and Exporting

Minister of Industry in the caretaker government, Deputy George Bouchikian, announced that industrialists cannot export their products abroad unless they are legal, licensed industrialists who comply with the conditions and specifications outlined in the decrees and decisions issued by the Minister of Industry and other concerned ministries and administrations. During his visit to the National Automotive System (NAS) factory in Hamlaiah, he explained that licensing is the necessary tool and the only means to expand industrial activity, increase production capacity, enhance competitiveness in local and global markets, and benefit from full ministry services and incentives provided by electricity and vehicle registration administrations for licensed institutions only. Bouchikian encouraged industrialists operating without a license to come out of their illegal status and submit their files to the ministry for review and legality assessment. He emphasized that continuing to operate clandestinely will expose industrialists to prosecution and closure as soon as the ministry becomes aware.
