The Israeli army confirmed in a statement early Thursday morning that its forces were able to recover the bodies of 4 Israeli captives from the Gaza Strip during the operation launched in the Khan Yunis area in southern Gaza. The army stated that its forces successfully retrieved the bodies of Mia Gorin, Oren Golden, Tomer Achimes, and Kirill Brodski during a "complex operation" in Khan Yunis.
Israeli broadcasting authority reported that Brodski and Achimes were killed during clashes with Palestinian resistance fighters in Kibbutz Nirim on October 7, while Mia Gorin was killed in Kibbutz Nirim Oz. Oren Golden was a member of the civilian guard unit for Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak.
