The Estimation Department of Meteorology at the General Directorate of Civil Aviation predicts that typical summer weather with humidity will prevail over Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin. Temperatures are expected to remain within seasonal averages until Monday when they are expected to rise, particularly in inland areas, exceeding the usual averages across most regions and shifting to relatively hot weather.

Warnings have been issued regarding rising sea waves and the formation of water currents, especially along the northern coasts.

Weather forecast for Lebanon:

Saturday: Partly cloudy with heavy fog over the mountains and no significant change in temperatures. High humidity levels on the coast will increase the sensation of heat, with winds occasionally becoming active.

Sunday: Partly cloudy with fog on the mountains and no significant temperature change. High humidity along the coast will enhance the feeling of heat.

Monday: From partly cloudy to cloudy with fog on the mountains. Temperatures will rise above seasonal averages in the mountains and inland, while remaining unchanged on the coast with high humidity, increasing the sensation of heat.

Tuesday: From partly cloudy to cloudy with fog on the mountains and no change in temperatures, which will remain above seasonal averages inland and in the mountains. Humidity levels will remain high on the coast, enhancing the feeling of heat.

Surface winds: Southwesterly during the day, southeasterly at night, occasionally active with speeds ranging between 15 and 40 km/h.

Visibility: Moderate on the coast, worsens on the mountains due to fog.
Relative humidity on the coast: Between 60% and 80%.
