Paris Hilton Marries in a Legendary Ceremony After Two-Year Relationship

American socialite Paris Hilton married her friend Carter Reum after a two-year friendship, describing it as a "true legendary wedding." The 40-year-old Hilton got engaged to businessman Reum, who is the same age, last February. Paris Hilton shared details of the wedding, held in Los Angeles on Thursday, in a blog where she expressed disbelief at finally becoming a wife. She wrote, "I finally kiss my prince and my everlasting happiness begins that I've dreamed of since my early childhood." She tweeted "wife for life" alongside pictures of her lace wedding dress designed by Oscar de la Renta. Among the guests at her family's lavish estate were Kim Kardashian, Nicole Richie, and Paula Abdul. Celebrity site TMZ reported that singer Demi Lovato performed at the wedding, where Hilton changed outfits four times. Hilton, granddaughter of Conrad Hilton, founder of Hilton Hotels, rose to fame through a leaked tape in 2001. She later starred in the reality TV show "The Simple Life" and is currently filming a reality show titled "This Is Paris." Her business empire now includes a fragrance line, stores, and other products. Paris Hilton has been engaged three times before: to actor Chris Zylka in 2018, shipping heir Paris Latsis in 2005, and model Jason Shaw in 2002.
