The 25th round of the French Ligue 1 for the current 2020-2021 season concluded on Sunday evening with the match between Bordeaux and visiting Marseille, which ended in a draw.
Lille regained the top position in the Ligue 1 table with 55 points, despite being held to a goalless draw against Brest at the Pierre-Mauroy Stadium on Sunday. On the other hand, Brest increased its tally to 31 points, settling in the twelfth position. Paris Saint-Germain moved up to second place with 54 points after defeating Nice 2-1 on Saturday, while Lyon lost to Montpellier 2-1 in a match held that same Saturday at the Groupama Stadium. Lyon's points remained frozen at 52, placing them third in the Ligue 1 standings, while Montpellier raised its score to 35 points, ranking eighth.
