It seems that Barcelona's trip to Turin for the "Golden Boy" ceremony was beneficial for the Catalan giant in several ways. After meeting with renowned agent Mino Raiola, Barcelona president Joan Laporta, the club's officials also had a meeting with another agent for a Juventus star whose contract ends next June. Matteo Alemany, Barcelona's sporting director, informally spoke with Federico Pastorello, the agent of Juventus star Federico Bernardeschi, as reported by the Spanish newspaper "Sport."
The newspaper indicated that the two discussed the possibility of Bernardeschi moving to Barcelona next season. Additionally, it noted that this discussion was not the first regarding Bernardeschi's future, as Barcelona is interested in securing a major "free" transfer in the upcoming summer market, which would facilitate the acquisition of other players. Bernardeschi has not renewed his contract with Juventus yet due to the club's desire to reduce his salary; however, Italian reports indicate that the player is open to renewing.
