The candidate Rami Fenj from the "Sovereignty and Justice List" won the Sunni seat in Tripoli, ousting MP Faisal Karami. Fenj was known during the revolution for distributing food to the revolutionaries in Nour Square and was summoned several times to the Tel police station by security forces for interrogation.
