The price of Basra Light crude has increased, coinciding with the rise in other crude oils like Brent and American crude before their closure yesterday, Friday. Basra Light crude exported to Asia reached $67.72 per barrel, an increase of $0.32, or 0.47% from last Thursday. Basra Light crude recorded the highest prices compared to other OPEC oil types, with Saudi Light Arab crude at $67.68 per barrel, and the Emirati Murban blend at $66.61 per barrel. The Algerian Saharan blend was priced at $66.66 per barrel, while Nigerian Bonny Light was $66.82, and Angolan Girassol was $67.68. Global oil prices had risen, closing with Brent crude at $68.23 and West Texas Intermediate at $64.80.
